Voltage Doubler for Solar Battery Charger circuit

This is a simple circuit of a Positive Voltage Doubler. This circuit utilizes the MAX1044/ICL7660. The Schottky diode was selected to reduce the voltage drop. The Positive Voltage Doubler circuit is designed to convert a lower input voltage into a higher...

MicroPower Solar Engine

A power source providing 2.5V DC at 10µA is utilized to drive a pager motor. The motor activates between 2.3V and 2.5V, and deactivates between 1.2V and 1.5V. The circuit design has been breadboarded by multiple individuals, showing consistent results,...

Evaluation Board For The Ad9834 Direct Digital Synthesizer

This document outlines the design of a low-cost 90 W flyback switching power supply intended for use in a multi-sync color monitor. To reduce screen interference caused by switching noise, the power supply can be automatically synchronized to the fixed...

battery charger regulator

Most commercially available car battery chargers should not be connected to the battery for extended periods, as this can lead to overcharging and subsequent battery damage. This add-on circuit is connected in series with the battery being charged and is...

SOLAR REVOLVER

How would you use an SE with a chip enable? Good question and well one thing leads to another and before you know it a new solar roller is born. The design started out as a simple example of using...

Battery-Temperature Sensing Nicad Charger

Two simple circuits enable NiCad battery charging based on the temperature differences between the battery pack and the ambient temperature. This method allows for fast charging by sensing the temperature rise that occurs after charging is complete when the battery...

Switching Regulator Circuit

This example presents a switch DC regulated power supply circuit designed for buck-mode +5V applications. It consists of a power supply circuit, an impulsator, a voltage sampling or pulse width modulation circuit, and a buffering driver circuit, as illustrated in...

switching power supply 2

This circuit is designed to double nearly any DC input voltage while handling a substantial amount of current. For instance, it can work with input voltages ranging from 12 to 24V. With minor modifications, it can also provide any desired...

Solar Battery Charger Circuits

This is a simple and cost-effective solar battery charger that can be constructed by hobbyists. It has some limitations compared to other similar controllers, but it also provides several benefits. While primarily designed for charging lead-acid batteries, it can also...
