RF 433MHz - 3 channels remote control
The schematic is very simple and includes, in addition to Nutchip, with its three driving transistor and LED, the radio receiver. The data come from the OUT pin of the receiver and enter the pin REMOTE remote control. The RESET...
100 MHz RF oscillator with ATtiny12
A frequency reference for tuning up the RS-232 to 100 MHz RF desktop channel adapter elsewhere on this site, when I found this Saronix crystal oscillator in my junk box. A few minutes with AVRStudio produced an ATtiny12 to make...
Simple Low-Frequency Receiver
Using an NE602 heterodyne detector and U1 as an RF amplifier, this receiver tunes the middle portion of the low-frequency spectrum from 150 to 250 kHz. U2 is a loudspeaker amplifier.
The described circuit employs an NE602 integrated circuit as...
SENSITIVE RF VOLTMETER
This schematic illustrates a peak-reading diode voltmeter that is powered by two amplification stages. A 100 µF capacitor is utilized to create a substantial time constant, which ensures effective damping of the meter. The restricted differential output voltage, combined with...
Radio circuits built
This receiver is a modification of Charles Wenzel's Two Transistor Reflex Radio. Instead of a ferrite AM loopstick antenna, a magnetic loop antenna is used, and an LM386 amplifier stage has been added to drive an 8-ohm speaker. A switch...
Wideband RF Field Strength Meter
A field strength meter is highly beneficial when dealing with RF devices. It allows for the rapid diagnosis of transmitter circuit functionality and can detect RF signals present in the environment. The simplest form of a field strength meter can...
Receiver monitor
The alarm connects to the earphone jack on a receiver. When a signal, typically sent to the headphones, is detected and applied to the gate of SCR1, it conducts, activating the alarm connected to SOI. The signaling device can be...
receiver architectures
Various architectures of receivers have been proposed in literature, but the most popular architectures among them, such as Heterodyne, Homodyne, Wideband-IF, and Low-IF, are presented here.
The Heterodyne receiver architecture utilizes two frequencies: the incoming radio frequency (RF) signal and a...
RF Circuitry Links
The 7th overtone of 18 MHz (17m) is 144 MHz (2m) directly within the CW region. Icarus is a high-altitude balloon (HAB) project funded by advertising revenue, which has successfully launched numerous balloons that captured impressive photographs. Robert Harrison is...
